We make our tinctures with organic vodka and fresh plants because of the synergy we see when the plants are used fresh from the earth.  

SYNERGY

An interaction or cooperation giving rise to a whole that is greater than the simple sum of its parts

There are exceptions to this, such as when it is more efficacious to use a high proof alcohol or when it is best to use a dried root rather than fresh. This will be noted in the list below.
